Tojiki Tonya is a collective of ceramic makers based in the Tokai region of Japan, a center of pottery production since ancient times. Donabe are made in Iga, an area renowned for its special clay that creates highly flame-resistant cookware.
It is characterized by its rounded shape and lightness. The shape facilitates convection and cooks delicious rice.

- Can be cooked over an open flame, in an oven, or in a microwave oven.
- Do not use in a dishwasher.
- Wash by hand, then wipe dry with a dry cloth and store in a dry place.
- Do not leave it to soak in water as it may cause stains or mildew. Wash separately from hardware and hardware.

Shipping
Orders typically require 2–6 business days to process before shipping. Delivery times vary by destination and carrier. Tracking will be provided once shipped. Orders may arrive in separate packages and may take longer outside the continental US. Shipping cannot be made to PO Box, APO, or FPO addresses.

Returns
Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original condition/packaging. Final sale, custom, exclusive, and limited pieces are not eligible. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original form of payment once items are received and inspected. Shipping costs, duties, and fees are non-refundable unless the product is defective or damaged.
Damaged / Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us with photos upon delivery; we will arrange a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid return label.
Lost or Stolen Packages
If a package is lost in transit, we will file a carrier claim and replace the order once resolved. Orders marked “delivered” but not received may require a police report for replacement.
